Welcome to the Council of Westmarch!

Greetings, friends!   Hail, and well-met!  Welcome to the official website of The Council of Westmarch, a Montana-area Tolkien community.   It is updated regularly with Council news specifically, and news from the world of Tolkien fandom in general. Be sure to check out all there is to see.  Remember, anyone (not just members) may submit any original artwork of any kind at any time, as well as other submissions, if you’d like it posted here to share with Council members and others. Please explore, and please let us know your thoughts as well as ways we can improve upon it.  We are always open to suggestions.

Yours Most Deeply,

Brandybuck & Co.

Quote of the Week:

” The eyes were hollow and the carven beard was broken, but about the high stern forehead there was a coronal of silver and gold.  A trailing plant with flowers like small white stars had bound itself across the brows as if in reverence for the fallen king, and in the crevices of his stony hair yellow stonecrop gleamed.  ‘They cannot conquer forever!’ said Frodo.’ “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers:  Book IV: VII: Journey to the Cross-roads

Wow, your website looks awesome! I will have to work on mine … I think there definitely will be a love interest in the movie, maybe two, if you count Galadriel and Gandalf. Just guessing, but probably so. Have a great week!
